Little Otter California-Licensed Child & Family Therapist (Virtual, Measurement-Based Care, Part-Time)

Location: Remote within the United States; California independent licensure required

Compensation: $40–$85 per completed clinical session; $30 per scheduled session for a late cancellation within 24 hours or no-show.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based virtual therapy to children, adolescents, and families using a whole-family approach.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver clinical care.
• Use standardized clinical measures to guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
• Partner with caregivers to build skills and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Assess safety concerns, maintain accurate documentation, and follow clinical, ethical, licensing, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master’s-level therapist independently licensed in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent.
• Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children and families.
• Experience treating common pediatric mental health conditions using evidence-based approaches.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
• Comfort delivering care virtually and using technology in clinical practice.
• Availability for seven sessions per week during peak demand hours, including school-based session hours, after-school hours, evenings, and weekends.
