Lead, Planning & Fulfillment (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States

Base pay: $100,000–$127,000 USD annually for California-based employees.

What you will do

• Lead a team of planners, coordinators, and/or expeditors.
• Oversee demand, supply, and fulfillment planning in ERP and MRP systems.
• Maintain BOMs, parts, and master data, including updates for engineering changes and new product introductions.
• Produce line-of-balance, material shortage, and clear-to-build reports to provide material visibility.
• Monitor purchased-item delivery, manage supplier relationships, and escalate delays, cost, and quality concerns.
• Align material planning with production schedules while communicating status to cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring procurement-policy compliance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree, or 9+ years of total work experience.
• Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems for material planning and management.
• Strong knowledge of master data, BOM management, planning release, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience producing material line-of-balance reports and conducting clear-to-build reviews.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mathematics, and statistical analysis for data reporting.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, EV automotive, or other advanced manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards and U.S. export controls, including ITAR and EAR.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience managing obsolete and end-of-life products.
• SQL proficiency.
