Buyer (Aerospace Supply Chain)

Location: Golden, Colorado, United States; workplace: on-site. Relocation assistance may be available when applicable.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Source and procure materials, hardware, and services for engineering and production requirements.
• Lead subcontracting activities and prepare, negotiate, and manage purchase orders, contracts, and subcontracts.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms while maintaining sustainable supplier relationships.
• Manage inventory levels and develop procurement strategies with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate deliveries and logistics, track purchasing activity, and report spending and procurement performance.
• Use bulk pricing, stocking, vendor-managed inventory, and other supplier agreements to optimize the supply chain.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of procurement experience in a high-tech, hardware-focused industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing principles, negotiation, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and procurement software.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site in Golden, Colorado.

Nice to have

• Aerospace experience.
• International purchasing and global supply chain management experience.
• Knowledge of relevant industry laws and regulations.
• Professional procurement certification such as CPSM or CPSP.
