PLM Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-office five days per week is an essential part of the role

Salary: $150,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the architecture, implementation, and operation of Teamcenter, NX, and supporting engineering systems.
• Design scalable workflows, standards, automation, and product-data flows across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Configure and extend Teamcenter using BMIDE, APIs, scripting, and custom development.
• Evaluate make-versus-buy decisions and implement or administer engineering and enterprise solutions.
• Troubleshoot engineering systems and user workflows while supporting day-to-day product development.
• Define the long-term engineering systems roadmap and remain hands-on with execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience administering, developing, or architecting PLM systems in a product development environment.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, NX, and BMIDE.
• Experience developing automation with Python, APIs, or other scripting languages.
• Experience implementing or integrating ERP and other enterprise engineering systems.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, engineering change management, configuration management, and product data management principles, plus strong troubleshooting skills.
