Staff Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: United States; hybrid work from a local office at least 2 days per week or 8 days per month, with a fully remote option for candidates not located near a hub. Hybrid roles may require up to 25% travel; remote roles may require up to 40% travel.

Salary: $165,200–$206,500 plus commission in New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle; $148,680–$185,850 plus commission in all other locations.

What you will do

• Act as the technical architect for strategic enterprise, key-account, and government opportunities valued at $2M–$15M+.
• Own the full pre-sales cycle from discovery through handoff and build relationships with CIO, CISO, VP Engineering, CFO, and COO stakeholders.
• Develop ROI narratives, business cases, and architecture-level recommendations covering integrations, security, compliance, and platform feasibility.
• Create reusable blueprint libraries, demo archetypes, integration pattern catalogs, and other SE enablement assets.
• Lead the SE function’s AI and automation strategy across blueprint generation, demo automation, and proof-of-concept development.
• Coach other SEs and contribute the senior technical perspective to go-to-market planning and product roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting in enterprise SaaS.
• Experience owning complex enterprise deals where IT or Finance was the primary buyer or champion.
• Deep knowledge of HRIS, LMS, SSO, and API-based integration ecosystems.
• Expertise in enterprise security, data residency, and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Ability to independently build ROI narratives and business cases for CFO and COO audiences.
• Experience developing SE playbooks, blueprint libraries, training programs, integration catalogs, and mentoring other SEs.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Claude, Figma Make, and Python prototyping for SE workflows.
• Experience working with global enterprise contexts and non-HR executive buyers.
