Staff Support Software Engineer (AI Robotics)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA headquarters; travel to customer locations and deployment sites is required, including occasional off-hours maintenance windows.

Salary: $125,000–$171,600 base pay annually, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional release readiness, software deployment, system integration, and production release activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployments, infrastructure automation, and deployment automation at scale.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, infrastructure, databases, and distributed systems.
• Develop automation, tools, runbooks, and repeatable processes to reduce manual work and improve operational reliability.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with Engineering, DevOps, QA, Operations, site teams, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Travel approximately 10–20% for deployment activities, site readiness, customer environments, and critical release events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience involving development, automation, integration, and production support.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, DevOps, deployment automation, PowerShell, APIs, databases, and system integration.
• Strong technical problem-solving, ownership, communication, documentation, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client and customer locations.
• Experience with supply chain, warehouse automation, logistics, robotics, ASRS, WMS, WES, or WCS environments is preferred.

Nice to have

• Docker, Python, SQL, Git, Jenkins, Ansible/AWX, Helm, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, monitoring, and cloud platform experience.
