Senior DevOps Engineer (Robotics)

Compensation: $175,000 – $250,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, including instrumentation and monitoring.
• Manage infrastructure for build artifacts and dependency storage.
• Build and optimize cloud and GPU clusters to support research and software development.
• Enhance MLOps training and deployment paths, including model artifact registry and rollout to robot endpoints.
• Improve infrastructure observability and harden security and multi-tenancy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with production system ownership.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with build systems for cloud and embedded infrastructure.
• Comfortable operating in a Linux environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like EtherCAT, Modbus, or gRPC.
• Experience with MLOps.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security for embedded IoT devices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud system orchestration.
