Senior/Staff Frontend CAD Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize RTL generation tools, automated IP, and SoC schemes.
• Build Python and Tcl applications for model generation, regression, analysis, and other front-end flow tools.
• Evaluate and integrate EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
• Define front-end CAD methodologies and integrate AI tools across VLSI development flows.
• Support the productivity of hardware design teams and accelerate time-to-market for next-generation processors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in relevant industries.
• Professional experience with Python and Tcl in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Knowledge of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Very good communication skills.
• Understanding of the VLSI design cycle, including clock-domain crossing, simulation, debugging, synthesis, and timing analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with industry-standard lint, synthesis, and simulation tools.
• Experience with Git and compute cluster management systems such as LSF or SGE.
