TL;DR
Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Delivering and deploying AI code review and governance solutions for strategic enterprise customers across on-prem, air-gapped, and regulated environments with an accent on agentic use cases, customer-specific integrations, and production reliability. Focus on debugging distributed systems, building MCP servers and agent extensions, and converting customer deployments into reusable product capabilities.

is building an AI code review and governance platform for engineering organizations that develop and deploy AI-generated code.
What you will do
- Own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments, from initial prototypes through stable production.
- Diagnose and remediate complex issues in the codebase and production environments, including routing, gateway behavior, performance, reliability, and large-scale pull request challenges.
- Build customer-specific MCP servers, agent skills, and platform integrations that can become reusable product capabilities.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams on debugging, architecture reviews, discovery, and joint implementation.
- Scope and sequence delivery, remove blockers, and balance scope, speed, and quality.
- Partner with Product, Research, Platform, Security, and go-to-market teams to turn customer feedback into roadmap items, tools, playbooks, and benchmarks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer with consulting experience, or founder with hands-on deployment experience.
- Experience building or consuming MCP servers or agent frameworks.
- Ability to write and review production-quality code in Python, TypeScript, or comparable stacks.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Experience debugging distributed systems under time pressure and preventing recurrence through effective postmortems.
- Strong communication skills for working with engineers and non-technical stakeholders, conducting discovery, and identifying risks early.
Nice to have
- Background in enterprise platform engineering, multi-tenancy design, or large-scale monorepo tooling.
- Experience with model routing, inference infrastructure, or LLM gateway systems.
