AP/AR Specialist (Freight and Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including billing, payment tracking, collections follow-ups, and account reconciliation.
• Process vendor invoices, validate supporting documents, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts, vendor accounts, and bank statements while investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing by preparing accruals, supporting schedules, and financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve billing issues and maintain smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, brokerage firms, or similar logistics environments.
• Strong understanding of shipping and logistics documents, including BOLs, AWBs, packing lists, and invoices.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with data entry, validation, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with modern accounting systems and tools, plus familiarity with Transport Management Systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills at C1 level.
