Accountant (Accounts Receivable, Invoicing & Financial Operations) – Remote

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking an accountant to manage accounts receivable, invoicing, payment tracking, cash flow reporting, and financial operations.

What you will do

• Prepare and issue invoices, manage accounts receivable, track payment statuses, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, incoming and outgoing transactions, and banking or treasury-related activity.
• Maintain accurate financial records, trackers, documentation, reconciliations, and audit-ready reports.
• Maintain financial information in QuickBooks and support migration from legacy or manual accounting systems.
• Identify repetitive processes and improve accounting workflows, reporting, invoicing, payment tracking, SOPs, and documentation.
• Provide leadership with visibility into cash position, payment priorities, outstanding receivables, and operational finance activity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, accounts receivable, invoicing, payment tracking, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with digital banking and payment processing platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, financial accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and availability during U.S. business hours.
• Ability to work independently and communicate directly with U.S.-based leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting system migrations or accounting automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted accounting workflows and automation tools.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Exposure to treasury operations, cash forecasting, operational finance, or accounting SOP improvement.
