Senior Manufacturing Technician (Electric Aviation)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite work with indoor and outdoor activities and varying shifts possible

Salary: $35–$45 USD per hour

What you will do

• Build, troubleshoot, and test electric vehicle charging systems and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Debug malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical methods.
• Improve quality-control practices and manufacturing processes.
• Help build and test new products as they are developed.
• Learn production processes and software to help resolve execution issues.

Requirements

• High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and written work instructions.
• Experience with hand and power tools and electrical analysis equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work safely around variable conditions, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• A.A.S. in electrical engineering or a similar field.
• Soldering experience.
• Experience with electric chargers or other high-voltage systems.
• Experience with automated test systems.
• Experience leading others on a team.
