What you will do

• Build a technically ambitious greenfield project from scratch.
• Work at the intersection of autonomous systems, hardware, and software.
• Contribute to technology choices and system architecture.
• Develop solutions in a complex, high-stakes environment with evolving requirements.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in aerospace, robotics, UAV, or safety-critical systems.
• Strong depth in a core engineering discipline and experience working across hardware and software.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving requirements.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus.
• For mechanical engineering: structural design, mechanisms, CAD, manufacturing-oriented design, and DFM/DFA.
• For software or systems engineering: embedded or real-time systems, C++ and/or Python, RTOS/ROS, system architecture, requirements engineering, or verification and validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with lightweight structures, aerial systems, flight software, robotics, or certified environments.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2, DO-178C, IEC 61508, or complex-system certification processes.
• Previous experience building products or systems from scratch.
