Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for wearable and robotic devices.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate designs to improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly efforts for scalable production.
• Work with vendors and suppliers on prototyping, tooling, and production readiness.
• Perform tolerance, structural, and thermal analyses to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and industrial design teams to integrate mechanical systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience; applications from all experience levels are considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong CAD skills, preferably with Onshape or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods such as 3D printing and machining.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles and scaling prototypes to production.
• Hands-on problem-solving, rapid iteration, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer hardware, robotics, or compact devices.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
