NC Licensed 1099 Mental Health Therapist

Location: Fully remote within the United States. Therapy hours of operation are 8am to 3am ET, seven days a week. During the academic year, availability of at least 8 hours per week is required, including a strong preference for 4 evening or weekend hours after 5:00 PM local time.

Compensation: $78 per completed 60-minute intake session; $58 per completed 45-minute follow-up session; $30 per no-show appointment; $60 per hour for monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality virtual therapy to college students using evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct intakes, develop treatment plans, and deliver ongoing clinical care.
• Use the collaboration portal to support students and maintain timely, accurate clinical records.
• Coordinate care with campus treatment providers, supervisors, peers, and administrative support staff.
• Identify and manage escalating risk scenarios, collaborating with leadership during critical patient situations.
• Participate in monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings.

Requirements

• Active independent clinical licensure in North Carolina, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.
• Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
• Ability to develop appropriate treatment plans and treat a diverse student population respectfully.
• Ability to identify and manage escalating risk scenarios.
• Laptop or desktop computer with a quality camera and stable internet connection.
