General Interest Application for Mental Health Therapists

Location: Remote within the United States; services are currently provided in CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, MD, MA, MO, NV, TX, VA, and WA, with future expansion to additional states.

Compensation: $40–$85 per completed session in Zone 1 states and $30–$80 per completed session in Zone 2 states. Late cancellation or no-show compensation is $30 or $20 per scheduled session, respectively. Required non-session work is paid at $20 per hour.

hirify.global provides school-based physical and mental telehealth services for K–12 students in partnership with school districts.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to an assigned caseload of K–12 students.
• Diagnose when appropriate, conduct initial intake assessments, and create individual treatment plans.
• Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress.
• Collaborate with care management teams, school personnel, family members, and external transition services.
• Participate in clinical trainings, meetings, and team activities while completing documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide consultative telehealth crisis support when assigned and maintain the required weekly availability and productivity levels.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted license to practice independently without supervision is required.
• At least one year of experience in a school-based setting or working with school-aged children.
• Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint criminal background check and complete Hazel's credentialing process.
• Knowledge of diagnosis, assessment practices, treatment strategies, and interventions for children's and families' mental health needs.
• Strong technology, digital documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses and provide services in other states as needed.

Nice to have

• Telehealth experience.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Korean, or Tagalog; additional compensation is available.
