Robotics Field Solutions Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of customer sites running Tutor robots and act as the primary technical partner for operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Build deep knowledge of robot software, hardware, and operational characteristics to diagnose and resolve deployment issues.
• Address problems through software configuration, mechanical adjustments, process changes, and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with engineering on technical improvements, providing customer context, prioritization, and field validation rather than writing application code.
• Track fleet uptime, reliability, throughput, and customer satisfaction, acting proactively on performance signals.
• Translate field observations into product insights and support expansion conversations with Account Executives.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in applications engineering, field engineering, robotics deployment, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
• Technical depth in robotics, industrial automation, controls, mechatronics, manufacturing systems, or warehouse and logistics technology.
• Comfort working hands-on with software and physical systems in real-world operational environments.
• Ability to understand complex technical systems built by others well enough to diagnose, tune, and improve outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with engineering teams, operations leaders, operators, and customers.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time on-site at customer facilities.

• Experience deploying or supporting robotics in production environments.
• Background in warehouse, manufacturing, or other industrial operations.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to resolve technical issues using field context.
• Strong interest in robotics, automation, or physical AI.
