Plant Controller (Manufacturing)

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year plus a 20% bonus

What you will do

• Own plant financial performance, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable reporting.
• Oversee financial statements, variance analysis, general ledger activities, month-end and year-end close.
• Lead cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify savings opportunities and support operational decisions.
• Build financial models for capital investment decisions and align financial results with operational objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop plant accounting and finance staff while maintaining accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of accounting or finance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience supporting multi-site or global operations; leadership experience managing finance teams is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Three or more years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams.
• Experience in industrial production environments.
