Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze and maintain standard product costs covering materials, labor, and overhead.
• Review manufacturing processes, identify cost drivers, and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Evaluate cost structures and sales data to support pricing, profitability analysis, and customer quote packages.
• Monitor job cost variances, including material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Support financial close, budgeting, forecasting, inventory valuation, and cost accounting activities.
• Support the implementation of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline), including cost rates and the transition from standard cost to actual cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality analysis supporting data-driven business decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in contract manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Syteline ERP.
