What you will do
- Strengthen technical relationships with customer research and development organizations.
- Identify emerging integrated-circuit fabrication challenges related to device performance and yield.
- Develop market segmentation, competitive analysis, product strategies, and technical differentiation statements.
- Provide expert guidance on customer process and device roadmaps from N through N+2.
- Lead technical roadmap meetings, customer engagement programs, and local technical resources.
- Design alternative technology solutions and drive technical collaborations with consortia and partner companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years, master’s degree with 6+ years, or doctorate with 4–6 years of experience in leading-edge logic device fabrication, research, or equipment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process integration, material processing and analysis, fabrication principles, clean-room protocols, and wafer processing.
- Ability to analyze technical data, apply the scientific method, design experiments, and use statistical process control techniques.
- Ability to interface with, negotiate with, coach, and troubleshoot technical problems for customers.
- Skills in technical reporting, formal training and presentations, problem solving, priority setting, and technical communication.
- Working knowledge of basic business, accounting, financial, management, and supervisory practices.
