Field Service Engineer (Applied Implant)

Location: Suzhou, China; on-site customer equipment support with approximately 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using digital analytics, diagnostic tools, documentation, and task plans.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate with customers and internal business units and lead projects or customer meetings when required.
• Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• More than 3 years of direct Applied Implant tool working experience.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude covering pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Advanced knowledge of wafer processing parameters and strong knowledge of hand tools, including digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet on-site safety, environmental, and clean-room requirements.
