Customer Support Technician III-CMP

Location: Shanghai, China. Travel required up to 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Plan daily work schedules and complete preventive, remedial, periodic maintenance, wet cleans, start-ups, warranty, paid service, and service contract activities.
• Verify system operational quality, troubleshoot process variations, and correct equipment problems with support from senior engineers when needed.
• Coordinate customer support plans, communicate with customer management, and act as a liaison on administrative and technical matters.
• Provide technical assistance and informal guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Track equipment performance, plan uptime improvements, and implement productivity initiatives using Statistical Process Control and Quality Improvement Process methods.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes and procedures.
• Good understanding of team collaboration and cross-functional integration.
• Ability to solve atypical or infrequently occurring problems using established procedures and precedents.
• Ability to work in cleanroom conditions and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
• Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 35 lbs., distinguish colors, work in noisy environments, and use hand and power tools.
