MN Licensed 1099 Mental Health Therapist

Location: Fully remote within the United States; therapy hours operate from 8am to 3am ET, seven days a week.

Compensation: $84 per completed 60-minute intake session; $63 per completed 45-minute follow-up session; $30 per no-show appointment; $60 per hour for monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings.

What you will do

• Deliver virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
• Conduct biopsychosocial intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment planning.
• Use the collaboration portal to support students and maintain timely, accurate clinical records.
• Coordinate care with campus treatment providers, supervisors, peers, and administrative staff.
• Identify and manage escalating risk scenarios, collaborating with leadership during critical patient situations.
• Support college students through hirify.global’s virtual care model.

Requirements

• Active independent clinical licensure in Minnesota, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC.
• Ability to provide virtual therapy and work with a diverse college-student population.
• Ability to complete thorough biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
• Skill in developing appropriate treatment plans and managing escalating risk scenarios.
• Reliable laptop or desktop computer, quality video camera, and stable internet connection.
• Availability for at least 8 hours per week during the academic year, including preferably 4 evening or weekend hours.
