Therapist (Ohio)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; Ohio residents strongly preferred. Occasional travel is required for team meetings and training. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for patients with substance use disorder and related behavioral health needs.
• Deliver evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and recovery-centered care through telehealth.
• Develop coordinated treatment plans with prescribers, peers, and other care team members.
• Coordinate patient goals, engagement strategies, and support plans across disciplines.
• Help design hirify.global’s therapy program, including scalable workflows, group models, and documentation practices.
• Participate in quality improvement, innovation, and ongoing program development.

Requirements

• Active Ohio license for independent psychotherapy practice, such as LISW, LPCC, LICDC, psychologist license, or another applicable Ohio clinical license.
• At least 5 years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy to people with substance use disorder.
• Experience collaborating with medical clinicians, case managers, peers, and other care team members.
• Comfort providing telehealth and using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology for care, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfort working in an early-stage or evolving program with ambiguity, experimentation, and frequent iteration.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or improving a clinical program, therapy service, group curriculum, care pathway, or interdisciplinary workflow.
• Lived experience with substance use, recovery, behavioral health, or related systems of care.
• Experience working with Medicaid populations or patients with complex social, medical, or behavioral health needs.
