Production Technician I - Kiefel (7:00pm - 7:00am)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States. Onsite manufacturing role with a 7:00pm–7:00am shift.

Salary: $48,048 annually.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and adjust Kiefel machines using HMI controls and manual adjustments.
• Load production materials and replenish supplies according to production needs.
• Perform quality checks, inspect finished bags, disposition products, and stop production when required.
• Execute material changeovers, package Inter-Plant Shipping Orders, and secure finished products.
• Document manufacturing information in logs and the POMS system.
• Identify and escalate machine, safety, quality, and efficiency issues while maintaining a clean work area using 6S principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Proficiency with calculators, measurement tools such as calipers and rulers, and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk continuously throughout the shift.
