Systems Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $110,500.00–$152,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Support systems engineering projects combining electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Create and maintain system engineering specifications within the relevant technical expertise.
• Plan and coordinate tests, provide feedback on new designs, and support engineering improvements.
• Identify and troubleshoot moderately difficult engineering problems, including serviceability and manufacturability issues.
• Support system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs.
• Define external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture concepts, and contribute to the systems architecture development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to contribute to system engineering specifications and understand implications across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
• Ability to analyze requirements, architectures, interfaces, and system integration needs.
• Ability to ensure hardware and software designs meet market requirements and are reliable, safe, user-friendly, and maintainable.
