hirify.global is a European fusion company developing the hardware and infrastructure for commercial stellarator fusion power plants.

What you will do

• Lead the planning and delivery of Alpha, the first fusion demonstrator, owning scope, schedule, risk, and cross-team alignment.
• Direct the Alpha construction project and ensure readiness for construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate engineering partners and align contracts with the Head of Siting & Infrastructure.
• Integrate inputs from technical integration, machine engineering, BIM, and external partners into a delivery-ready plan.
• Guide the PMO scheduler, project coordinator, and controllers on scheduling, reporting, tracking, and financial control.
• Identify risks, drive decisions, and resolve cross-disciplinary issues before they become delivery blockers.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering complex capital projects in energy, research, industrial, or high-tech environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering–construction interfaces and owner-side project management.
• Experience driving decisions, structuring ambiguity, and aligning diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort working with evolving technical maturity and incomplete information.
• Ability to represent owner priorities when working with EPCM providers and engineering consortia.
