Quality Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: United Kingdom - Towcester, Northamptonshire. Onsite manufacturing site role with rotating early and late shifts Monday–Friday. A full driving licence and access to personal transport are essential.

What you will do

• Perform quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations and verify product compliance with specifications.
• Conduct routine process, ESD, shop-floor, goods-in, goods-out, and verification inspections.
• Support the Quality Engineer with quality control activities and internal and customer audits.
• Assist with corrective and preventive action, change control, calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and update QA work instructions and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Experience carrying out quality audits.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts Monday–Friday.
• Full driving licence and access to personal transport required due to the rural site location.

Nice to have

• BTEC ONC/OND in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing.
• Calibration experience.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of SAP, Agile, PROMIS, or similar manufacturing systems.
