Senior Facilities Engineer (HVAC)

What you will do

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems serving cleanrooms and office environments.
• Control temperature, humidity, airflow, pressurization, filtration, and HEPA certification activities.
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs for HVAC, cleanrooms, compressed air, generators, and water purification systems.
• Oversee daily building operations and facility cleaning across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and infrastructure systems.
• Lead facility and HVAC capital projects, managing scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, commissioning, and qualification.
• Manage vendors, departmental budgets, utility usage, maintenance costs, and facilities and HVAC teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of facilities engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, HEPA filtration, airflow, pressurization, and contamination control.
• Experience with BMS, EMS, CMMS, or ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Experience with commissioning and qualification processes, project management, contractor management, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in cleanroom and regulated GMP environments, including pharma, biotech, or medical device settings.
