Operations Manager, Strategy Plasma (Healthcare Logistics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Erlanger, Kentucky, United States, with 3 days onsite; occasional travel to distribution centers is required.

Salary: $105,800–$176,300 base pay per year, with potential additional bonus or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Act as the primary client-facing liaison for operational performance, issue resolution, and service commitments.
• Translate client requirements into operational priorities and lead recurring performance reviews, scorecards, and business updates.
• Own KPIs covering service, cost, quality, reliability, on-time delivery, transportation cost, and utilization.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, Kaizen, and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate with transportation teams on routing, network design, carrier performance, planning, exception management, and variability reduction.
• Build operational dashboards and scorecards, maintain reporting accuracy, and provide actionable insights for client and operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience as a client-facing or cross-functional liaison with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proven continuous improvement and structured problem-solving experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methods.
• Ability to analyze data, drive measurable operational improvements, communicate with executives, and work independently in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
• Work authorization sponsorship is not available presently or in the future.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification, or Kaizen experience.
• Experience in plasma operations, healthcare logistics, or regulated environments.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel.
• Experience building operational scorecards and dashboards.
