Sr Manager of Distribution Continuous Improvement

Salary: $135,000–$225,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Develop long-term strategies to optimize warehousing space, material handling, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency across global warehouses and 3PL locations.
• Deploy Lean, 5S, Visual Management, and other continuous improvement solutions.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, service improvement, productivity, risk mitigation, and return on investment.
• Select and implement storage systems, from business case development through deployment.
• Establish standard work, KPIs, performance dashboards, and benefits tracking for global distribution operations.
• Lead and mentor warehouse teams while partnering with Global Logistics, Supply Chain, Trade Management, Quality, IT, Regional Operations, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or global logistics operations.
• 5+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives in a global or multi-site environment.
• Experience optimizing distribution centers and third-party logistics providers across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and data visualization.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive change without direct authority.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Industrial Engineering background.
• 10+ years of leadership experience.
