What you will do

• Design PCBs for embedded control, power management, motor drives, and sensor interfaces in robotic systems.
• Own hardware designs from schematic capture through PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, bring-up, and validation.
• Select components based on availability, cost, reliability, and fit within the electrical architecture.
• Define and validate interfaces between custom PCBs, modules, actuators, and sensing hardware.
• Create hardware test plans, debug boards with lab equipment, and support firmware and software integration.
• Maintain schematics, bills of materials, and design documentation while collaborating with manufacturers and fabricators.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hardware engineering experience in a product development environment.
• Proficiency with a professional EDA tool for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience designing multilayer PCBs with mixed-signal, power, and high-speed digital content.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Working knowledge of motor drives, DC-DC conversion, power sequencing, and protection circuits.
• Ability to independently bring up and debug hardware using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers.
