Base salary: $119,000–$178,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of up to twelve Quality Development Engineers.
• Contribute to department strategy, planning, and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee HealthShare product quality and testing activities across Scrum teams.
• Lead the adoption of automation and AI tools to improve test coverage, accuracy, and testing frequency.
• Identify testing gaps in the HealthShare product line and execute remediation plans.
• Contribute hands-on as a technical quality engineering specialist when needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science or an equivalent STEM degree.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile project management.
• Familiarity with application development, relational databases, object-oriented development, and cloud technology.
• Ability to read code critically, identify bugs and performance bottlenecks, and investigate customer issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to acquire new technical knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with software testing automation and non-deterministic testing of AI applications.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Perl.
• Object-oriented programming experience with hirify.global ObjectScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or C#.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems, networking, or multithreaded applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR, SDA, HL7, and CDA, or UI technologies such as Angular and TypeScript.
