Licensed Insurance Agent (Property & Casualty)

Location: Remote, based in the United States

Salary: $45,000–$85,000 base pay annually, plus uncapped commission-based earnings. This is a non-exempt, hourly role.

hirify.global helps consumers make informed financial decisions and is launching hirify.global Insurance Experts, a Property & Casualty insurance agency focused on personal lines products.

What you will do

• Conduct client assessments, consultations, and insurance quotes to evaluate needs and potential risks.
• Recommend, compare, and bind personal lines products including auto, home, umbrella, flood, life, and health insurance.
• Explain policy terms, coverage, and pricing, then prepare and process applications and related documentation.
• Manage lead follow-ups, policy renewals, and claims support while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by policy premium, support client retention, and report on sales performance metrics.
• Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, carrier underwriting processes, licensing requirements, compliance standards, and industry updates.

Requirements

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• At least one year of experience as a P&C insurance agent; Level II agents require 3–5+ years of experience.
• Experience quoting, selling, and servicing personal lines insurance products.
• Familiarity with personal lines carriers, underwriting processes, CRM tools, email platforms, and quoting software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, customer service, relationship-building, sales, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Independent agency or similar personal lines background with demonstrated success quoting and binding across a multi-carrier marketplace, preferred for Level I and required for Level II.
• Previous sales or customer service experience.
