Data Operations Supervisor (Robotics)

Location: Savannah, United States; second shift, 2:30pm–11:00pm on weekdays

Salary: $102,000–$128,000 annually

What you will do

• Oversee contractors and internal employees performing ML annotation, robot teleoperation, and data-asset creation.
• Develop onboarding and training documentation, structured learning programs, and on-the-floor coaching.
• Define and track KPIs for data quality, efficiency, failure causes, and shift performance.
• Coordinate with ML researchers, engineers, IT, and facilities to address data requirements, bottlenecks, equipment availability, and workspace needs.
• Plan shift assignments, manage the team budget, and ensure safety and operational excellence.
• Develop SOPs and trial new software, hardware, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Experience coaching and optionally managing people in a professional environment such as retail, construction, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Data analysis skills, including KPI review, dashboards, and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills using email, chat, Jira, presentations, and documents.
• Demonstrated operational excellence and continuous improvement experience.
• Availability for the weekday second shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

Nice to have

• Exposure to robotics, VR, networking, or IT technology.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Jira, and similar tools.
