PCBA Process/Test Engineer

Location: Thailand - Pathumthani (Navanakorn); onsite at the contract manufacturer

What you will do

• Oversee testing, PCB assembly, and box-build processes as the onsite representative at the contract manufacturer.
• Monitor manufacturing standards, including ESD controls, line setup, audits, and process adherence.
• Support new product introduction, product bring-up, troubleshooting, and mass-production ramp-up.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, 5D/8D reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with program management, test engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, and global engineering teams.
• Monitor yields and production excursions and provide regular reports and proactive recommendations to the design team.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in testing, PCB assembly, and box-build or mechanical assembly processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience with electrical debugging, test software best practices, PCB assembly, mechanical assembly processes, and tolerancing.
• Strong knowledge of quality-control tools and methodologies, including SPC, 5D/8D, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting contract manufacturers onsite, conducting line audits, and applying manufacturing process controls, material handling, and ESD standards.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote engineering teams.
