Engineer, Customer Quality Engineering (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead preparation and coordination for customer and RBA visits and audits, including presentations, dry runs, documentation, hospitality, and post-audit reporting.
• Coordinate investigation and resolution of customer complaints, manage 8D reports, and track corrective actions through closure.
• Review FPP improvement items, present performance reports and improvement plans to customers, and coordinate First Article Inspection activities.
• Consolidate and submit customer questionnaires, checklists, and assessments while translating and clarifying Chinese-language technical materials.
• Support stop-order analysis, customer line audits, factory data analysis, process standardization, and handling training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing sites on customer requirements, quality monitoring, and management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing quality, customer quality engineering, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO, IATF, and RBA/EICC audits.
• Proficiency in 8D problem solving, root cause analysis, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and First Article Inspection processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to support Chinese-language customer communication, presentations, training, and technical document interpretation is highly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in HDD, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
• Two to five years of experience working with Chinese customers or in Chinese-speaking business environments.
• Familiarity with Box or similar document management platforms.
