Senior Hardware Test Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: Ayutthaya, Thailand (onsite); occasional domestic and international travel required.

What you will do

• Develop, install, commission, and upgrade test programs and fixtures for new product introductions.
• Build and maintain functional test systems and production process equipment at a contract manufacturing site.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, regional test teams, and contract manufacturing partners to ensure production readiness.
• Perform advanced failure analysis and debugging of assembly and manufacturing test systems, including wireless and communication protocols.
• Analyze test data and production trends to improve testing yields and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain test databases and software supporting daily manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Test, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience building, debugging, and commissioning functional test systems in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Knowledge of process capability, statistical process control, and quality study implementation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with subcontract or contract manufacturing.
• Understanding of surface-mount technology, wireless electronics, and GPS technology.
• Familiarity with test software systems, scripting languages, and database script management.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and CAD systems.
