Senior Design Manager (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Lead large-scale hyperscale data centre design projects from concept through schematic and detailed design phases.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, internal teams, and leadership to maintain design integrity and compliance.
• Drive design innovation and efficiency in support of rapid expansion and sustainability goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design team.
• Ensure projects meet customer and internal requirements for cost, schedule, quality, and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering and design, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or data centres.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering principles and practices.
• Expertise in data centre systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, CDUs, fire suppression, and structured cabling.
• Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience leading complex design projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
