What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end month-end and year-end close process across the Group.
- Oversee journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end reporting schedules.
- Manage group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency accounting, and consolidation adjustments.
- Oversee CAPEX and project accounting, including asset capitalisation, work-in-progress, depreciation, and asset disposals.
- Maintain general ledger integrity, balance sheet governance, financial controls, accounting policies, and audit schedules.
- Improve finance processes, automate manual activities, support finance transformation, and partner with operational, commercial, technology, and project teams.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in financial accounting, month-end close, consolidation, and financial control roles.
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, general ledger integrity, and balance sheet governance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritisation, and attention-to-detail skills.
