Financial Accountant

What you will do

• Manage capital work in progress through to asset capitalisation after project completion.
• Maintain fixed asset, intangible asset, and inventory registers across multiple regions.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and other stakeholders on capital projects.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, systems, and controls for capex, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Lead wage capitalisation, prepare asset movement schedules, and support half-year and year-end reporting.
• Support external audits, supplier contract analysis, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification, or current progress toward one.
• Experience applying IFRS accounting standards and understanding financial management in a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global organisation with multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or another large ERP system.
