Homeowner Product System Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Translate insurance business projects into clear engineering requirements and deliverables.
• Support rating, underwriting, forms, and business-rule projects with Insurance Product and Engineering teams.
• Update project documentation and maintain source-of-truth libraries for existing programming structures.
• Communicate daily with Engineering partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Perform post-production testing to validate the completeness and accuracy of product changes.
• Investigate policy defects through individual policy lookups and problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or analytical discipline.
• Three or more years of experience in business systems analysis and technical implementation within the Personal Lines Insurance sector.
• Ability to understand and connect insurance business needs with technical platform engineering concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience writing engineering product tickets that clearly outline business needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with a Top 20 Personal Lines Homeowners writer.
• Prior homeowner insurance experience and a strong understanding of Personal Lines Insurance.
• Experience with SQL, Jira, Confluence, or VBA Editor tools.
