Claims Business Systems Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Remote; must live and work in the United States, excluding territories, with reliable high-speed internet.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Configure, customize, and maintain the Origami core claims platform, including dashboards, mail merge templates, online state forms, reports, and workflow automation.
• Test integrations with medical bill review, pharmacy benefit management, payment processing, fraud detection, digital mailroom, and other third-party solutions.
• Manage platform security through roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets, and license assignments.
• Develop test scripts and test data, execute enhancement and release testing, document defects, and support UAT.
• Troubleshoot claims system issues, monitor performance, resolve data quality problems, and coordinate platform issues with Enterprise Technology and vendors.
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, data flows, integrations, configurations, and technical handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based systems.
• Experience creating process maps, gathering business requirements, writing functional specifications, and creating test plans and scripts.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance claims and claims systems.
• Experience with Origami, Guidewire, Equisoft, or Pega.
• Must be able to live and work in the United States, excluding territories.
