Senior IT Project Manager (Facilities)

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and facilities projects from initiation through closure.
• Manage office buildouts, renovations, relocations, space planning, infrastructure upgrades, facilities vendors, and service contracts.
• Coordinate with business leaders, IT teams, facilities staff, end-users, contractors, and external vendors to align requirements and deliverables.
• Oversee technical feasibility, technology and equipment evaluations, change implementation, user training, and project documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues, maintain health, safety, building code, regulatory, and quality requirements, and conduct project reviews.
• Manage budgets, resources, expenses, KPIs, performance reporting, and post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction/Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in project or program management, including at least 4 years managing IT and/or facilities implementations.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, including SDLC and infrastructure, and facilities operations, including buildouts, space planning, physical infrastructure, and vendor management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project, and methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Nice to have

• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification.
• Working knowledge of facilities, building codes, safety standards, and contractor/vendor management.
