Task Order Project Manager (Federal IT)

What you will do

• Lead federal IT application modernization, application sustainment, and cybersecurity support for a Defense Logistics Agency program.
• Oversee program execution, schedules, personnel assignments, technical performance, contractual deliverables, risks, and service availability.
• Serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Manage Jira-based project planning, user stories, product backlogs, sprint execution, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, developers, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and technical support personnel.
• Prepare project plans, modernization roadmaps, POA&Ms, monthly progress reports, technical status updates, and customer-facing communications while coordinating with government stakeholders and the COR.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant information technology experience and five years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Experience managing federal IT programs involving application modernization, software development, sustainment, or related technical services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinating complex schedules, resources, and deliverables.
• Experience serving as a Scrum Master and managing Agile software development activities.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira for sprint planning, backlog management, task tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience developing project plans, managing program risks, tracking milestones, and preparing customer-facing progress reports.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management Professional certification or another qualifying project management certification, Scrum Master certification, and DoD 8140 baseline certification applicable to the IT Project Manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• A favorable Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation is required at proposal submission, along with a Secret clearance.
