Project Manager

Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States

Salary: $50–$55 per hour

What you will do

• Manage medium to extra-large complexity projects through the full project life cycle using appropriate methodologies, tools, planning, and communication practices.
• Define project scope and objectives, manage change, risks, budgets, stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts, implementation, and project closure.
• Develop project status reports, communicate with stakeholders, and report key metrics through the PMO dashboard.
• Forecast, acquire, and manage resources while building and managing project teams.
• Ensure deliverables comply with federal, state, agency, and PMO guidelines, and manage contract processes from initiation through closure.
• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis, provide recommendations, and facilitate groups involving independent parties.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Project Management experience managing complex projects through the full project life cycle.
• Experience with project scope, change management, risk mitigation, budgeting, stakeholder management, vendor management, and contract management.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma processes and proven process improvement experience.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience using MS Project and understanding of the Project Management Institute's project management practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills; well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, conduct repetitive computer tasks, and occasionally move around the office for meetings.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Project Management, MBA, MPH, or a related field.
• Experience in state government, regulatory organizations, or similar service-related businesses.
• PMP, LSSBB, and/or CSM certification.
