Logistics and Warehouse Manager

hirify.global operates a global supply chain involving a UK facility, third-party contract manufacturers, customer shipments, and reverse logistics.

What you will do

• Lead inbound and outbound transportation for raw materials, components, finished goods, customer shipments, and returned products.
• Develop domestic and international shipping lane strategies and optimize freight costs, delivery performance, consolidation, and transport modes.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, courier providers, customs brokers, and 3PLs.
• Manage import and export compliance, customs declarations, tariff classifications, country-of-origin determinations, duties, and trade documentation.
• Lead warehouse operations covering receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Coordinate with the UK facility and third-party contract manufacturers while supporting production and customer commitments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive logistics and warehouse management experience.
• Proven experience managing international logistics operations and customs and trade compliance.
• Experience negotiating freight and logistics contracts and managing transportation providers.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, warehouse capacity planning, and operational improvement.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, duty and tariff analysis, and customs audit requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics and Warehouse Management Systems.
