Field Logistics Manager (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own field inventory strategy, control standards, system configuration, stocking levels, reorder triggers, safety stock, cycle counts, audits, and inventory KPIs.
• Build a scalable parts catalog with accurate part masters and bills of materials, while governing consumption tracking, forecasting, replenishment, RMA, refurbishment, quarantine, and disposition processes.
• Design and scale the field parts storage network based on fleet density, geographic coverage, response times, and customer service-level commitments.
• Manage carrier, freight, consumable, and spare-parts vendor strategies, including sourcing, negotiations, lane optimization, and emergency logistics.
• Establish documented workflows and SOPs for production inbound, site shipments, inter-site transfers, bot rotations, returns, decommissioning, and cross-border logistics, with Mexico as the immediate priority.
• Manage the Field Logistics Coordinator, build the logistics team over time, and partner with engineering, maintenance, customer support, service delivery, production, and applications engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or field service supply operations, including ownership of inventory strategy across multiple stocking locations.
• Experience designing and implementing inventory control systems, including min/max frameworks, cycle counts, consumption tracking, and reorder governance.
• Hands-on experience configuring, auditing, and maintaining data quality in NetSuite or a comparable ERP or inventory management system.
• Experience managing field warehousing or multi-location parts networks and making data-driven inventory positioning and demand forecasting decisions.
• Experience managing carrier and vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing freight lanes.
• People management experience and the ability to build processes in a fast-moving environment with limited existing infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience in field service, robotics, industrial equipment, or hardware-as-a-service environments with contractual uptime commitments.
• Experience scaling parts or logistics operations during rapid fleet or customer growth.
• Familiarity with RMA, depot repair, refurbishment, or reverse logistics.
• Experience with cross-border logistics and customs compliance, particularly between the United States and Mexico.
• Exposure to WMS, asset tracking, consumption, or inventory management tooling.
