Supply Chain Technician (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in San Carlos, California, United States

Salary: $22–$37 per hour, depending on level, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage shipping, receiving, and domestic and international freight for specialized hardware.
• Maintain inventory levels and implement systems such as Kanban to prevent stock-outs.
• Organize lab spaces and ensure equipment is tracked, calibrated, and available.
• Partner with engineering teams to streamline source-to-shelf workflows for rapid prototyping.
• Track high-value assets and materials across internal systems.
• Support logistics and operational workflows across lab and production environments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR regulations: a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or production support.
• Experience handling sensitive hardware, including ESD or cleanroom protocols.
• Ability to work hands-on, lift up to 50 lbs, and use material handling equipment.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems for inventory tracking and purchase order management.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting hardware or engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with supply chain processes in high-reliability industries.
• Background in aerospace, space, or other advanced hardware sectors.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
