WI Licensed 1099 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Location: 100% remote within the United States. Set a schedule between 8:00am and 12:00am Eastern Time, seven days a week. A minimum commitment of 8 hours is requested; evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Compensation: $141 per 60-minute intake, $49 per 30-minute follow-up, $47 per no-show intake, $25 per no-show follow-up, and $100 per hour for collaborative and all-hands meetings.

What you will do

• Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations, biopsychosocial intakes, and medication management appointments.
• Provide culturally competent, whole-person care for college-aged students.
• Assess the urgency of escalating risk scenarios and create clear diagnostic assessments.
• Document clinical encounters to support effective care coordination.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers, on-campus treatment providers, and campus care teams.
• Partner with the care navigation team to develop longer-term treatment plans when needed.

Requirements

• Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin.
• Full Practice Authority in Wisconsin, allowing independent practice without physician supervision.
• At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.
• Experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders in college-aged students.
• Experience providing culturally responsive treatment to diverse patient groups.
• A quality video camera and stable internet connection for virtual care.
